SINTEF has selected Deltek’s Maconomy X1 ERP solution to improve their business processes inside the organization. SINTEF is the largest independent research group in Scandinavia, employing more than 2,100 people. SINTEF will be using Deltek’s Maconomy X1 solution to consolidate its IT solutions and make everyday work for its researchers easier. The deal covers a pilot project to design a solution for SINTEF that is scheduled for implementation starting March 2011.
Aspirations of European Leadership
It is SINTEF’s ambition to become the leader within commissioned research in Europe. As part of this goal, SINTEF wants to make information and support tools available to its employees in a new and easier way, thus enabling employees to focus on the content and quality of the projects. On top of a new ERP solution tailored for Professional Services firms like SINTEF, the deal includes a new document management system, a search engine, and a SharePoint portal customised and delivered by Logica Norway.
