Maconomy selected by renowned law firm Selmer

Maconomy affirms its position in the legal segment in Norway through a new deal with the recognised law firm Selmer. The Norwegian law firm has selected a complete, fully integrated Maconomy ERP solution with HR, CRM and Business Intelligence functionality.

The renowned Norwegian law firm Selmer has signed a deal with Maconomy for the delivery of a complete ERP solution for its 200 employees. Selmer’s new ERP solution includes integration to the company’s document management system and easy role-based access to legacy data.

“It’s a big step for Selmer that we’ve now decided to implement an all-inclusive ERP solution. This is a step we have waited a while to take and it has been very important for us to get references from other large law firms. We chose Maconomy both because they were held in high esteem by our peers and appear to be a solid choice for the legal industry, and because they emerged as the best option in a major internal evaluation process”, says Marius Ovesen, Selmer CFO and COO.

Selmer expects efficiencies through simpler time capture and integrated functionality across the organisation and also that the most significant impact will come from the business reporting capabilities in the Business Intelligence solution Analytix:

“This gives us an entirely different overview of our capacity and far better possibilities for planning and resource allocation. We know that Maconomy has strong reporting capabilities and we wanted the opportunity to monitor closely how our business is developing”, says Marius Ovesen.

With the Selmer deal, Maconomy is now the selected ERP provider among half of the largest law firms in Norway.
