At the turn of the year, Danish business solutions provider Maconomy will take over the management of the administrative solution Foreningspakken.dk (The Association Package) from Danish sports confederations DIF and DGI. This will make it easier for the more than 100,000 associations in Denmark to control their members and their finances.
Today the portal Foreningspakken.dk is used by more than 1,200 larger Danish sports associations to control such items as payments, budgets and membership records. On 1 January 2010, the Danish business solutions provider Maconomy will take over the portal.
“The Association Package is developed by Maconomy and by delegating the finance and membership system to them we are confident that it is in the best of hands. Maconomy can guarantee that the system is developed and enhanced to the benefit of all large and small Danish associations,” says IT Manager Peter Christian Andersen, DIF.
