Maconomy has published two new white papers on business intelligence (BI) which can be found on the Maconomy web site at:

The first paper, “What is Business Intelligence?” aims to provide clarity on the subject of BI. It provides an in-depth yet straight-forward definition of BI, firstly with a focus on the three elements that make up BI, and secondly, by contrasting it with other levels of business reporting.
“What is Business Intelligence?” should be read together with its companion piece, “How business intelligence adds value to your organization”, which explains the benefits a company receives with BI, as well as the steps it should take to ensure successful implementation and use of BI.
